Souper Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. stew meat, in 2-inch cubes
    1 envelope onion soup mix
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    2/3 c. sherry (white)
    2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
    freshly ground pepper
    dash of nutmeg
    cooked noodles
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Combine all ingredients (except noodles) in Dutch oven or 3 or 4-quart casserole.
    Cover and bake 3 hours adding small amount of water if mixture becomes too thick. Serve on bed of noodles.
