Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. lean stew meat
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 c. water
1 pkg. dry onion soup
8 bouillon cubes
1 c. wine (red or white)
1 c. fresh or canned, sliced mushrooms
2 tsp. garlic
2 tsp. basil
2 to 3 bay leaves
2 Tbsp. paprika
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 large carton sour cream (fat-free)
noodles, cooked
Preparation

In a large pot, brown meat in olive oil.
Add all ingredients, except sour cream.
Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Check occasionally and add water, if necessary.
Remove from heat.
Stir in sour cream.
Serve over cooked noodles.
