Candied Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    48 oz. sour pickles (1 qt. + 1 pt.), cut up and drained
    5 cloves garlic, mashed
    4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix garlic through pickles in crock or container.
    Add sugar. Pour over pickles.
    Do not stir until 2 days later, then stir each day for 7 days.
    Put in sterile jars and seal.
