Chocolate Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 small can evaporated milk
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate pieces
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation
    Heat sugar, milk and salt.
    When bubbles form on edge of pan, cook for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat, add chocolate pieces, vanilla and marshmallows.
    Add 1 cup nuts if desired.
    Pour into pan.
    Cool.
    Yields 2 pounds.
