Italian Bisquittes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
7 eggs
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
2 tsp. lemon rind, grated
2 lb. flour (about)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Cream sugar with butter.
Add eggs, lemon flavoring and lemon rind.
Sift into mixture flour and baking powder.
Use enough flour to make dough stiff enough to roll into long thin rolls. Twist pieces into a twig shape.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for about 12 minutes.
Ice with powdered sugar glaze if desired.
