Banana Nut Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. black walnuts
3 large bananas
4 Tbsp. sour milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix shortening and sugar until creamy.
Add eggs, beating well.
Sift all dry ingredients.
Add alternately to sugar mixture with milk and mashed bananas.
Mix well.
Add nuts and bake in two 8-inch layer cake pans at 350\u00b0 until done.
