Frozen Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage, shredded
    1 carrot, grated
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. whole mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. or less sugar
Preparation
    Mix salt and cabbage.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Squeeze excess moisture from cabbage.
    Add carrots and green pepper.
    Mix together in saucepan remaining ingredients.
    Boil 1 minute. Cool, then pour over cabbage.
    Mix well and serve.
    May be put in containers and frozen.
