Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 (16 oz.) cans sweet potatoes
3/4 c. dark brown sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 (10 oz.) bag marshmallows
1/2 stick butter
Preparation

Drain off and discard water from 1 can sweet potatoes.
Put both cans of potatoes and liquid in an ovenproof dish.
Add sugar, cinnamon, butter and nutmeg.
Bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Remove from oven.
Turn oven temperature to broil; put marshmallows on potatoes and return to oven for 30 seconds or until marshmallows are browned.
Remove from oven to cool.
Makes 5 (1/2 cup) servings.
