Almond Float Fruit Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 1/2 c. water
1 1/2 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. almond extract
1 can fruit cocktail, peaches or desired fresh fruits such as: grapes, cantaloupes, peaches, melons, lichee
Preparation

Dissolve gelatin in 1/2 cup water.
Heat evaporated milk, remaining water and 1/2 cup sugar to just below boiling.
Add gelatin to hot mixture and stir until completely mixed.
Cool. Add almond extract.
Pour into a flat pan and refrigerate.
When solid, cut into cubes.
Combine the chilled fruit mixture with syrup and the almond cubes.
