Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 small squash, sliced
    1/4 c. onion, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. flour (plain)
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. liquid from cooked squash
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. grated cheese
    1/4 c. bell pepper, chopped
    3 Tbsp. bread crumbs
    sprinkle paprika
Preparation
    Cook squash and onion in small amount of water until tender. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup liquid.
    Make sauce in skillet by combining butter, flour, milk and reserved liquid.
    Cook until sauce is as thick as heavy cream.
    Add salt, 1/2 cup grated cheese, pepper and squash mixture.
    Pour into greased baking dish. Top with remaining cheese and bread crumbs.
    Sprinkle top with paprika.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes, until brown.
    Serves 4 to 6.
