Perfect Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 or 7 tart apples
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon
    dash of nutmeg
    dash of salt
    pastry for 2 crust pie
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Pare apples and slice thin.
    Combine sugar, flour, spices and salt; mix with apples.
    Line a 9-inch pie plate with pastry.
    Fill with apple mixture; dot with butter.
    Adjust crust; sprinkle with sugar for sparkle.
    Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 50 minutes or until done.
