Wedding Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. shortening
    1 c. powdered sugar
    2 tsp. vanilla
    5 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour and sift again.
    Add salt.
    Cream shortening, sugar and vanilla.
    Mix with electric mixer and add flour and nuts.
    Mix well and form into balls.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Remove from oven and roll into powdered sugar.
