Pineapple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    crushed vanilla wafers (for top and bottom)
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 pt. heavy cream
    1 c. drained crushed pineapple
Preparation
    Put crushed wafers in bottom of 9 x 9-inch pan (reserve some for top).
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs and beat until smooth. Spread over crumbs.
    Whip cream stiff.
    Mix with drained pineapple. Spread over mixture and top with remaining crumbs.
    Chill overnight.
