Vanilla Wafer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    2 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (12 oz.) pkg. vanilla wafers, crushed
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. coconut
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Mix well after each.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Add vanilla wafers alternately with milk, 1/4 at a time.
    Mix well after each addition.
    Stir in pecans and coconut.
    Spoon into a well-greased tube pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until brown and tests done. Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes.
    Remove from pan and cool completely.
