Squash Souffle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 squash
    onion
    8 or 10 crackers or bread crumbs, crumbled
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 eggs, separated (save whites)
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. milk
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook until tender the squash and onion.
    Drain and mash.
    Mix all ingredients together and fold in beaten egg whites.
    Pour in buttered dish.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
