Carol'S Chicago Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 (16 oz.) cans kidney beans, drain off liquid
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 large onions, chopped
    1 lb. can tomatoes, mashed and drained
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
    3 tsp. chili powder
    3 tsp. black pepper
    salt
Preparation
    Lightly brown the ground beef, then add the chopped onions. Simmer for a few minutes.
    Place all the ingredients into slow cooker.
    Cook 9 to 10 hours on low setting.
    After the allotted time, stir chili and check the seasonings.
