Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. raw Spanish peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar and syrup in 2-quart casserole and stir.
    Add peanuts and salt and cook on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir and cook on High for 4 minutes.
    Stir in butter and vanilla.
    Cook for 2 minutes and 40 seconds on High.
    Add soda immediately and stir slowly and spread on lightly buttered cookie sheet.
