Oven Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1/2 tsp. salt
    9 qt. popped corn (unsalted)
    1 c. butter
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 (16 oz.) jar roasted peanuts (optional)
Preparation
    Mix brown sugar, butter, corn syrup, cream of tartar and salt in an 8-quart saucepan.
    Bring to boil.
    Stir constantly over medium heat.
    Boil 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add baking soda.
    Stir well until foam disappears.
    Pour over popped corn and nuts in a large roasting pan.
