Green Pea And Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. water
    1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimento
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
    2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans asparagus tips, drained
Preparation
    Cook peas according to package directions until tender. Drain.
    Combine soup and water.
    Gently mix in peas, pimentos and cheese, reserving some cheese for the top.
    Line bottom of a lightly greased 3-quart casserole dish with asparagus.
    Pour soup mixture over asparagus and sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until bubbly, about 20 minutes.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
