Disappearing Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
1 3/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/8 tsp. salt
1 3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Grease and flour 2 (9-inch) cake pans.
Cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until fluffy.
Blend in eggs. Combine cocoa, flour, baking powder, soda and salt in a bowl, adding alternately with milk to batter.
Blend well.
Pour into pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until cake tests done and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool.
Use cocoa in your favorite frosting.
