John'S Mother'S Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 loaf bread
1/2 batch corn bread
1 large onion, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter
2 Tbsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 egg, well beaten
1 qt. broth from turkey
Preparation

Toast bread and cut into 1-inch cubes or tear into small pieces.
Add corn bread, crumbled (put in large bowl).
Saute chopped onion in butter until yellow.
Add to bread and corn bread mixture.
Add poultry seasoning, salt and pepper.
Let stand 1 hour or overnight, if possible.
Add well beaten egg.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour in broth from turkey and mix well.
Put in greased baking dish (9 x 13 x 2-inch) and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
