Red Lobster Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    6 to 8 Tbsp. butter-flavored shortening
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    approximately 1 c. milk
    melted butter or oleo
    garlic powder
Preparation
    Mix flour, pepper and mustard in a large bowl.
    Cut in shortening, then fold in grated cheese.
    Add enough milk to make a stiff dough that will still drop from a spoon.
    Drop onto greased pan by tablespoons.
    Brush tops with butter.
    Sprinkle with garlic powder (parsley flakes optional).
    Bake in 450\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes until nicely browned.
