Any Time Of Year Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. jar kosher dills
    2 c. sugar
    2 or 3 small pieces cinnamon
    1 small onion, sliced
Preparation
    Drain dills.
    Slice pickles 1/4 to 1/2-inch thick and replace in jar.
    Add sugar, cinnamon and onion.
    Cover and refrigerate 24 hours, changing position up and down.
