Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 pkg. frozen hash browns (24 oz.)
    2 cartons sour cream
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
Preparation
    Saute onions in margarine.
    Mix in partially thawed potatoes, sour cream, soup, cheese and salt. Top casserole with 2 cups crushed corn flakes. Bake 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Can be made a day ahead, reserving the corn flakes until ready to bake.
    Serves 16.
