Toads In A Hole(Great For Psyching Out Your Kids!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

8 link sausages
2 Tbsp. drippings from sausage
1 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt/pepper
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. dried assorted herbs
2 chopped tomatoes
1/2 lb. button mushrooms

Preparation

Cook sausage and save drippings (10 minutes).
Sift flour and salt in a bowl.
Make well in center and add half the milk and 2 eggs, well beaten.
Gradually mix flour in liquid.
At end, add rest of milk.
Beat vigorously.
Pour batter in with mushrooms and sausage.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 45 minutes until golden.
The sausages are \"toad\" and the mushrooms are the \"toadstools\".
Fun for Halloween.
