Mama'S Fruit Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
Preparation
    Cut Crisco into dry ingredients; stir in evaporated milk and egg.
    To complete the dough, roll out walnut size balls to make small circles of thin crust.
    Fill with apples, peaches or other fruit.
    Fold over and press edges together.
    Fry in deep cooking oil.
