Pork Chops Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 thick pork chops
    1/4 c. cooking oil
    1 clove finely chopped garlic
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 small onion, chopped
    4 medium, fresh, peeled tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown pork chops lightly in 2 tablespoons oil in large skillet. Saute garlic, green pepper and onion in 2 tablespoons oil in small skillet. Add tomatoes, thyme, salt and pepper. Add pork chops to sauce. Steam, covered, for 30 minutes or until tender.
