Fresh Strawberry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. strawberries, washed and hulled (1 qt.)
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk biscuit mix
    3 Tbsp. melted margarine
    1 egg, slightly beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    whipped cream or ice cream
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Spray with nonstick vegetable shortening a 6 1/2 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Toss berries lightly with sugar and lemon juice and place in baking dish.
    In a bowl, combine biscuit mix, melted margarine, eggs and milk.
    Lightly mix with a fork and spoon-drop dough over berries.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until crust is golden brown.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
