Potato Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. butter
    6 large potatoes, diced
    9 lasagna noodles
    1 large onion, sliced
    8 oz. Velveeta cheese, diced
    salt
Preparation
    Melt butter and saute onion until tender; set aside.
    In boiling salted water, cook lasagna noodles for 4 minutes.
    Add cold water to make warm.
    Set aside.
