Beef Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. red wine vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. dill weed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of white pepper
    3 c. julienne cut cold roast beef
    1 small onion, thin sliced
    8 c. torn salad greens
    1 c. sour cream
Preparation
    In saucepan, mix first 7 ingredients.
    Simmer 10 to 15 minutes. Cool.
    Toss with beef and onion.
    Chill.
    Drain, reserving marinade.
    Place greens in a large bowl.
    Top with beef and onions. Combine sour cream with reserved marinade.
    Toss with greens and beef.
