Pork Chop Skillet Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 pork chops
    6 slices onion
    6 Tbsp. uncooked rice
    1 c. diced celery
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    6 green pepper rings
    1 (No. 303) can tomatoes
Preparation
    Brown chops in shortening and drain.
    On each chop place a slice of onion, green pepper and 1 tablespoon rice in center of ring.
    Pour tomatoes around meat.
    Distribute celery.
    Cover; heat to simmering.
    Lower heat.
    Cook 1 hour.
