Beet Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. vinegar
2 c. water
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
cooked beets, cooled, peeled and sliced
Preparation

Mix vinegar, water, sugar and salt.
Bring to boil for 15 minutes.
Add cooked beets; simmer 5 minutes.
Use pickling spices, if desired.
