1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. granulated sugar
6 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
2 Tbsp. melted Parkay margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. packed brown sugar
1 1/2 c. boiling water
Preparation

Mix first 4 ingredients plus 2 tablespoons cocoa.
Add milk, shortening and vanilla.
Mix only until smooth; add pecans.
Pour in greased shallow pan, 9 x 9-inches.
Mix brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa.
Sprinkle over mixture in pan. Pour 1 1/2 cups boiling water over top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
