Ingredients

1 qt. vinegar
1/2 c. salt
1 c. water
Preparation

Mix vinegar, 1/2 cup salt and water.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes.
Put 1 clove garlic and 1 hot pepper in hot jars.
Pack with okra and put in 1 teaspoon of dill seed; pour in vinegar while hot.
