Criss-Cross Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large baking potato
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
salt
paprika or a seasoned salt
Preparation

Scrub potato; cut in half lengthwise.
Make diagonal slashes about 1/8-inch deep in cut surface of potato, forming crisscross pattern.
Brush cut surface with butter; season with salt or seasoned salt.
Place in small shallow pan or on piece of foil. Bake in hot oven (400\u00b0) for 40 minutes.
Sprinkle potato with paprika (optional).
Bake 10 minutes more or until done.
Serves 2. (You can wrap potato in foil and place on your grill; turn every 5 to 10 minutes until done.)
