Fresh Broccoli Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg plus 1 egg yolk, lightly beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    1 tsp. mustard
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. tarragon wine vinegar
    3 Tbsp. softened margarine
    1/2 c. mayonnaise
    4 c. broccoli florets
    1/2 c. raisins
    6 slices cooked, crumbled bacon
    2 c. fresh sliced mushrooms
    1/2 c. toasted sunflower seeds
    1 can mandarin oranges, chopped
Preparation
    Whisk together egg and yolk, sugar, cornstarch and mustard. Combine vinegar and water, then pour into egg mixture.
    Whisk constantly over medium heat until sauce thickens.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in margarine and mayonnaise.
    Chill.
    Toss remaining ingredients together and pour dressing over; mix.
