Divinity - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 c. white Karo syrup
1 c. water (cold)
4 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla flavoring (white)
1 qt. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cook sugar, syrup and water on high temperature.
Mixture is done when you drop a small amount in 1/2 cup water, if string breaks like toothpick, then it is ready.
Pour hot mixture into beaten egg whites (very slowly).
Then add vanilla and chopped nuts.
(Do not stir anymore.)
Let set until firm and spoon drop onto waxed paper.
