Devil Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Crisco
1 egg
1 c. milk

Preparation

Sift together first 6 ingredients.
Add remaining ingredients and beat together.
Drop by teaspoons on cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 375\u00b0.
Cool and fill with the following filling.
