Pineapple Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (undrained)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. sugar-free orange jello
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 (8 or 12 oz.) carton Cool Whip
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the pineapple and sugar, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
    Add jello, stirring until dissolved.
    Cool.
    Add buttermilk and stir well.
    Fold in Cool Whip and pecans.
    Pour in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch dish and chill until firm.
    Yields 8 servings.
