Beef Tips Over Noodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    4 lb. beef, cubed
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    2 cans mushrooms (optional)
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed beef broth
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 tsp. ketchup
    1/4 c. dry red wine or water
    3 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Toss flour, salt and pepper with beef cubes.
    Add onions and mushrooms.
    Combine beef broth, ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over beef and vegetables; stir well.
    Cover and cook on very low heat for 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
    (May also be cooked in a crock-pot for 7 to 12 hours.)
    Before serving, turn up heat.
    Make smooth paste from wine or water and flour and add to meat.
    Stir well and let thicken.
    Serve over buttered noodles.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
