Broccoli-Mushroom Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large head fresh broccoli, stems removed
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped
    1 c. mayonnaise
    8 Tbsp. butter, soft (1 stick)
    1 c. half and half
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 1/2 c. extra sharp grated Cheddar cheese
    2 c. finely crushed Ritz crackers
Preparation
    Place broccoli in large saucepan with 1 inch of water.
    Bring to a boil, cover and steam for 5 minutes.
    Drain and chop coarsely. Heat 3 tablespoons butter in skillet, add mushrooms and saute for 5 minutes, stirring.
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    In large mixing bowl, combine 8 tablespoons butter, onion, mushrooms, half and half, salt, pepper, mayonnaise and eggs.
    Mix all.
    Add 1 cup cheese and 1 1/2 cups Ritz crackers.
    Mix well and scrape mixture into baking dish.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese and crackers on top.
    Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes.
