Oven Beef Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef stew meat (do not brown)
1 c. carrots
1/2 c. celery, but in 1-inch pieces
3 medium potatoes - cut in chunks
1 medium onion, cut in wedges
salt and pepper to taste
3 Tbsp. tapioca (dry)
1 Tbsp sugar
12 oz. V8 Juice
Preparation

Put all ingredients in dutch oven or roaster.
Bake covered at 250 degrees for 5-6 hours.
Check and add more V8 juice if stew looks dry.
