Beer Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 green bell pepper, chopped
    2 lb. ground meat
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 can mushrooms (optional)
    1 large can (52 oz.) Ranch Style beans
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 can beer (optional)
Preparation
    Brown ground beef, onion and bell pepper.
    Drain grease when beef is browned.
    Add Ro-tel tomatoes, beans, garlic, salt, mushrooms and pepper.
    Bring to boil.
    Reduce heat.
    Add beer if you want to.
    If not, add 1 cup water and simmer for 45 minutes. May add more water if you want it soupier.
    You can't really taste the beer when added.
    Try it, you'll like it.
