Baked Apples - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 McIntosh apples (2 lb.)
    1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. chopped walnuts
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 Tbsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Wash and dry apples.
    Do not peel.
    Cut each apple into eight wedges.
    Arrange wedges in a circle in 10-inch pie plate.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg, sugar and walnuts.
    Drizzle with butter.
    Bake, uncovered, in preheated 350\u00b0 oven until tender and crisp and apples hold their shape, about 20 minutes.
    Serve hot topped with ice cream.
