Potato And Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

2 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced
2 c. cream style corn
1 c. whole kernel corn
1 small can chopped green chilies
3 Tbsp. butter
2 c. buttermilk
2 c. grated Monterey Jack cheese
4 Tbsp. chopped green onion tops
Preparation

Butter 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Arrange 1/2 of potatoes on bottom and salt and pepper; sprinkle half of the corn and half of the chilies over potatoes. Dot with butter; repeat layer. Pour buttermilk over it all. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 1 hour (until potatoes are done). Remove from oven and top with green onion and cheese; return to oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese melts.
