Stuffed Pepper Cups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium green peppers, tops cut off and seeds and membrane removed
    salt
    1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    1 lb. can tomatoes, chopped
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1/2 c. uncooked long grain rice
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    4 oz. sharp American cheese, shredded
Preparation
    Boil prepared peppers in salted water about 5 minutes; drain. (For crisp peppers, omit the precooking.)
    Sprinkle inside of pepper cups with salt.
