Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    24 red sweet peppers
    24 green sweet peppers
    12 onions
    2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 c. white vinegar
    1 1/2 tsp. ground red pepper
Preparation
    Grind peppers and onions.
    Cover with enough boiling water to cover.
    Let stand 15 minutes.
    Put in colander and drain.
    Heat vinegar and sugar to boiling.
    Add mixture and cook 15 to 20 minutes.
    Put in sterilized jars and seal.
