Dot'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. milk
    3/4 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. light Karo syrup
    dash of salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    nuts
Preparation
    Cook milk and cocoa over low heat until smooth. Add sugar, Karo and salt. Cook until soft-ball stage. Add butter and let cool until lukewarm, without stirring, then add vanilla and beat. Add nuts and pour into a buttered pan.
