Toll House Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. butter, softened
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    whipped cream or ice cream (optional)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    In large mixer bowl, beat eggs at high speed until foamy, about 3 minutes.
    Beat in sugar, flour and brown sugar until well blended.
    Beat in softened butter.
    Stir in nuts and chocolate morsels.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until knife inserted in center comes out clean and top is golden brown.
    Cool on wire rack.
    Serve with whipped cream or ice cream, if desired.
