Brunswick Stew(Makes 75 Quarts) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

7 1/2 hens
10 to 12 lb. beef
3 lb. bacon
45 lb. potatoes
9 lb. onions
12 qt. butter beans
12 1/2 qt. tomatoes
11 qt. corn (add this 20 to 30 minutes before finishing)
3 lb. butter
salt, pepper and sugar to taste (approximately 1 c. salt, 1/4 c. pepper and 2 c. sugar)
Preparation

My father-in-law made this in a big black pot outside over a fire.
We would split it between 4 families and freeze it.
Their church also made it as a fund raiser.
It is great on a cold rainy day with hot rolls or cornbread.
